Achive is Passwrd Protected.

I am useing the trial version of Avast (7.0.1.1473)

Just done a ‘quick scan’ and the results show lots of files that could not be scanned ie ‘achive is passwrd protected’. On reading the ‘help’ for that page it seems this is not unusual and probably not harmful but these files were not there yesterday or on previous scans.

Where have they suddenly come from and what program is likely to be useing them?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

As you can see, password protected doesn’t mean infected and isn’t anything to worry about. It’s also something quite normal.

to answer that…we need a screenshot of the scan result

Many thanks bob3160 and Pondus for your help.
