Activation code doesn't fit.

I received an activation code to register my Avast Free. The format of his code is:

A12345678B1234C1234-D1EFGHIJ

I tried to enter it, but Avast asks for a code like this:

123456-123456-123456

Needless to say that this doesn’t work. What do I do?
