I have used, and miss using, other VPN’s that have a PAUSE feature. Sometimes I need to turn off the VPN temporarily due to country restrictions. However, then I forget to turn it back on and find myself noticing a few days later. Then I feel so guilty thinking OMG, I have been surfing sensitive websites for how long without my VPN on. Have I been exposed? I was on my bank website, the Social Security website, my employer’s website, etc. I sometimes start noticing spam coming in on my mobile phone via SMS, WhatsApp, etc., and wonder, “Why all of a sudden is this happening again?”. Then I checked my VPN, and yes, it was off.
Can you please add a Pause feature to your VPN? Otherwise, I will probably go back to my previous VPN that had the pause feature. That would be a shame, especially when I purchased the bundled Avast Premium which comes with the VPN.
I also work from outside the country sometimes and need to have a dedicated IP address. This also isn’t an option in the Avast VPN app yet.
