Single Windows Server 2003
License is loaded, mirror ran fine…
I was prompted to create a certificate and did.
I get the following error while attempting to login to console:
‘Unable to log in as Administrator or conneciton error’
I have tried multiple admin accounts as well as deleting and re-creating the certificate to no avail.
I did however notice that while examining the certificate, even though I had selected ‘Trust and Store,’ it says ‘This CA root certificate is not trusted. To enable trust, install this certificate in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.’
Could this be part of the problem…or am I missing the boat somewhere…?
I don’t think this is a cert problem. The AMS maintains the cert on its own - it doesn’t use the Windows infrastructure for storing it (and since its self-signed, Windows doesn’t recognize it as ‘trusted’).
Are you using the right username/password pair? The default is Administrator/admin (see the ADNM Administrator’s Guide for details). Please note that this is NOT a Windows account - ADNM maintains its own system of users.
yesterday I installed a trial of ADNM ( before year end my firm, likely, will change ts current CA AV)
Had very unpleasant minutes trying to figure out what the f**k is this password I’m being asked…
I can’t remember seeing this administrator/admin thing during install… Maybe it will be very good thing to add a screen during install which requires to confirm/change default password…
When the ADNM console was started, there should’ve been the “introductory help” window (with items 1 2 3 4 5). This states clearly that the default username/password is Administrator/admin…
