I just got our first laptop in the office and I am really not sure what is the best way to configure it. Should I push the client to it from the ADNM, and if so will it still protect it once out of the office? If not, then what would be the best way to go with it?
Is it installed to be part of your domain?
If so, it should be possible to push the avast install to it (as if it was a normal PC).
There’s nothing special about laptops with respect to ADNM, really. If the AMS is reachable (and this includes VPN), it will get the updates and policies from it. If it is not, it will grab the updates from the Internet (but no policies, of course :-))
