ADNM not detects the avast engin on the clients

hi all;
i had installed ADMN on a server i make a discovery task it found all the computers in the network but the problem is that their is avast client installed in the end user but the avast network management not detecting that they have an agent their color stay gray instead of green or red what could be the problem.
can any one help

Are there the clients connected to the AMS IP address?

You can check it using the aswChAms.exe command.

What about firewalls?

Did you install the clients using the ADNM console? Also, don’t forget to hit “refresh”.

I try to check by using the aswChAms.exe command but I got a warning popup said that windows cant find it please check if u type it well

No I didn’t install it using ANDM because this company are already installing the avast pro on their 150 end user as a demo
Should I remove all the olad AVAST and try to install tem trough the console

i had try to install one through the console also it was in waitting status but not installing it; its not working
but how it detect it but we cant install or manage it ???

Hi mahertuffaha,

Yes, only the clients installed via the Management Console will be recognised. First try to install one client as a test. Create a new client side task for Deployment (name it something like Deploy antivirus on clients), connect the test(client) to this task (item Computers in this task) and Run task (right click on created task). It’s also wise to test if the task has Access Rights to the client(s) (right click on task, choose Access Rights and click on Test access).
Please, be patient, it may take several minutes for the task to deploy.
If everything works, do the same for the rest of the clients. Depending on your network configuration, the Management Console may well be able to detect your clients: Server side task | Discovery tasks.
Installing locally on the clients makes them not visible on the Management Console.

hi all

ok what if i had a customer that had already installed in his pcs about 200 pc avast pro demo and need to manage them.
i work in a like environment & when i install the management module it detects them all and it detects the avast engine on them so all what i did is to manage them and apply the licenses for them and all works
but what i dont know what can make the network management console not detecting the agent on them.
