The installation is a nightmare. 4 hours to clean and install it properly. It installs automatically unwanted programs like ADOBE.COM, ADOBEAIR (???) and an extension for uploading in FF3. Really, what does it take to move to FOXIT??? Make your life miserable with ADOBE READER SETUP!!! Or be wiser… 
I’ve been using Foxit for quite some time without any problems.
To uninstall your Adobe Reader you must be an ACROBAT! First, open your Spybot Search & Destroy/Tools/BHO and delete the BHO related to Adobe Reader. Then put Resident off. Unless you do that, the uninstallation won’t be successfull. I followed your advice and I am happier with Foxit Reader!!!
