AEA - Connected to chest but cannot delete files

I’m having trouble with the chest when trying to manage PCs on my domain. I can connect to the chest but I cannot delete the files within it. The AEA server (2008 R2) has the Windows Firewall turned off. The client PC (Win7 Pro) also has the Windows Firewall turned off. The RPC service (RpcSs), which is the first thing I normally check for issues like this, is running.

Below is the error I get.

Deleting of selected files

Hello

Its verified bug, which will be fixed in the next version of AEA+managed clients.

@MarKvi, when the AEA next version will be release?

We would like to have it ready this week or beginning of the next one…

Just to be more detailed about this issue - it also requires new version of managed client - release of the new version has not been set… But we are working on it, to have it ready ASAP.

Great news!

Happy to hear that, Great News thanks MarKvi

Long Path Tool helped me in this situation. http://DeleteLongFile.com

i was also have the same problem

PathToLong: not an option. Too expensive…

I can “Remote Desktop” into affected PCs and delete files manually for $0, but I would prefer not to …

Was this ever fixed? I recently upgrade AEA to 7.0.306 (Aug 2012) but I can’t seem to find a changelog for it. I found one post on here but the only thing I got out of it was the fact that Win8 is now supported.
