I went to my account to renew my vpn licence because it was expiring. I click renew licence and it takes me to a page where it offers me a discount - see attached. I proceed to payment and authorisation fails. After repeating the process several times with different payment methods. I still get authorisation failed.
I try to contact avast support Australia by phone - the number is constantly engaged - I relent and chat online with Melissa who tells me the the offer is no longer valid which is why its failing.
She tells me to renew online!!
How can I when the website takes me to the discount offer page?
It appears my only recourse is to seek the advice of the NSW Govt Fair Trading office for false advertising.
I raised a ticket on Monday of this week and have received no response to my issue. The fact remains that I cannot renew my licence. Help is on its way. ( Ticket ID: [#777938] )

As I’m sure the Australian avast community knows the mandatory data retention scheme came into effect today. So I’d like to expedite this issue urgently.
On a note, Asyn does not work for avast so it is not “his team”.
