For some reason the virus definitions on my tablet won’t update.
I tried updating to the latest version of Avast Mobile Security, clearing my cache and changing my DNS provider but the issue still occurs. This is the second time this has happened in the last 2 months The last time it resolved itself after a week or so, but this time it doesn’t seem to be resolving itself.
The strange part is that this only happens on my Galaxy tablet, never on my Huawei smartphone. Past topics on this issue from 2019 suggest that it’s an issue with the timestamps on the definitions, but if this was the case wouldn’t it affect all devices?
