An error occured in Avast! engine: Invalid argument

Hello,

Nubi at Ubuntu, can anyone help?

Has anyone come across this? When I did the download and installed Avast, this is what popped up (subject). Now the program won’t load or work at all. Are there any fixes or anything I can do? I’ve tried to reinstall, no luck,…thanks Necro

Presumably we are talking about the Linux version of avast here, so it would probably be pest placed on the avast! 4 for Linux/Unix/Mac forum, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=5.0.
