Today I got an alert from Avast Mobile Security that Chrome and Play Store are malware. I tried to uninstall Chrome and now cannot open Accessibility menu and Avast still says Play Store is Malware (that it can’t uninstall).
I disabled Play Store and now the icon has disappeared and I can’t reenable it or access the accessibility menu, which appears momentarily but then disappears.
Also, I tried to download Malware Bytes but it takes me to a blank page.
I was able to turn Play Store back on but Avast continues to say it is malware and I still cannot open Accessibility.
Is this a false positive?
Ok, here’s an update. I was able to download Malwarebytes and it allowed me to uninstall the update of Google Play Store that was showing as malware (although Malwarebytes did not recognize it as malware).
After uninstalling the update, I was able to access Accessibility on my phone. Before, it would very briefly appear and then disappear before I could allow Avast Mobile Security Service access. Whew! 
Hopefully this fixes things.
