Is Avast fully compatible with this latest version of Android OS that was just
installed on my Essential phone ???

The app is running but it does not officially support Android 9, as we have not finished the migration yet, so some features might not be working.

Mobile Security is running fine on my Pixel with Android 9 installed. So far, I haven’t seen any problems.

I also don’t have any problems. I’m just concerned that I may not be protected.

Hi, no worries about the protection, the partial incompatibility only concerns one feature - not the ability to protect. There is no time frame at the moment, but we will do our best to take care of it asap.
