Annoying Chrome-Messenger

Hi,

from time to time I get a message from an Annoying Chrome-Messenger. There is nothing installed from Chrome, browser is Opera, Mailer is Thunderbird.
Any idea about this messages?

As a side note, most guys won’t understand a German screenshot here.

And why do you think this has anything to do with avast ?

A script on this is possibly busy. You can now stop or continue, or wait to see if the script is finished.

Something along those lines. Long time since I did German!

Reminds me of:

https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=142848.0

Standard Script error message:

A script on this page may be busy or no longer responds. You can now stop or continue the script to see if the script is finished

Sorry folks for this screenshot, but it just comes in my language  Thanks for the translation
@Eddy - there is some Chrome stuff on my computer. I never installed/used Chrome, but this parts may come from Mozilla software.
And I heard that this kind of messages may depend from timeouts during online traffic. Can be caused by the virus scanner.

There are several Chrome-related files in the Avast folders. Even the logo as a png. Didn’t Avast use Chrome for part of the UI?

Both Firefox and Thunderbird also have similar files in their folders.

Confirmed.
