There is a really annoying UX bug with the Chrome extension, due to auto expand/collapse behaviour.
If one of the main items collapses, when you leave the hover area it shrinks again and the next menu item is no longer in the mouse view. This means I cannot quickly go down and untick all the items, I have to hover over, mouse the mouse out, then hover back in again, and repeat 4 times. It’s really frustrating lol.
Furthermore, there should really be a button at the top that lets you “disable all temporarily” or “disable all permanently” for this site. Or hell, even just a button which automatically clicks all the other buttons below would suffice.
I’d be happy to post a small bug bounty (say, $20) to have this fixed… not much, just a token gesture really.
Well it is your design concept against what has been designed.
A UX bug is a bug only in the eyes of the beholder… ;D
This would be a minor issue for me. Just press Shift + Escape in Google Chrome.
It is more important the extension does not weigh heavier on browser CPU than ABP does, approx over 270.000 K :o
known to slow browser quite a bit.
And this is really so and worrying me somewhat more, so it could also easily come to affect page rendering.
Do you know a solution for that issue?
Avast do read these but you just have to wait for their reply! If you want a reply as fast as possible you can submit a ticket to them. Once you submit a ticket to Avast Support you will have to wait between 3-5 working days or sometimes a week. Tickets are replied as a FIFO (First In First Out)/ first come first serve basis. Making any modification/edit or even making a separate reply on your own ticket will put your ticket back in the line causing further delay of your ticket response.
If you don’t hear from them after 1-2 weeks put your ticket number here and I will attract attention.
