Another Boot problem - aswrvrt.sys

Hi!

I have the same problem as many before.
Win7 32bit
I can’t boot - at the end it stuck on black screen (mouse is visible)
If go in Safe mode it stuck on aswrvrt.sys

So my question is where can I get WIN7 RC ISO so I can create FRST.txt and post it here

Thanks in advance

I will get a remover for you so they can give you instructions.

Hi again!

I made FRST.txt
I hope you can help me now

Download the attached Fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
Then try a normal boot

I’m afraid that the problem persist

Its same on normal boot (black screen with visable mouse) and in the safe mode freeze on aswrvrt.sys for a few moments and then same black screen

Here is my Fixlog.txt

What happened prior to the none booting ?

Download the attached Fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

I’m afraid that i can’t tell you that, because this is actually computer of one of my friend and he ask me if I can fix it (he is total noob when it comes to the computers). He said that he used it as allways, then turn off and next time just didn’t boot.

Now is the same on normal boot, but in safe mode it stops at CLASSPNP.SYS and after that black screen with mouse visible.

Here is fix log

When you boot to normal mode, does it black screen there or is there a blue screen with details ?

Just black screen and u can move mouse around. Never seen BSOD on this one

From the recovery console could you try a system restore

Not sure how to do that. can you please explain to me.

From the recovery console select command prompt
Type in the following :

rstrui.exe

Follow the on screen prompts

Doesn’t work. There is only one available restore point that I can choose and it say:

“The selected backup could not be found. System restore is looking for a restore point that is on your backup. Choose a different restore point”

I also noticed that the recovery console at startup finds Windows on E partition. Is that normal?

Your E:\ partition is most likely the USB you have plugged in if you still have it plugged in…

[Edit]: Or it may be a system manufacturer partition used to fully reset the computer if need be.

Ah ok then.

Alas it looks like time to re-install windows I am afraid

Well I guess so. Thank you both for helping me and fast reply.

Sorry we could not fix this one
