another question

do you have to run Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware

with Avast ?

I have adaware , dc cleaner , avast and malwarebytes , do I need all of them ?Roz

You don’t have to run Malwarebytes’ AntiMalware with Avast! but it can be a secondary scanner if you want it to be.

You don’t need all of them. (Maybe keep three of them and make sure Avast! is one of them)

Is your Adaware NOT real-time protection?

Adaware is not what it used to be in the past…
Dc cleaner: I don’t know it…
avast and malwarebytes are fully compatible. Download from the official sites, there are fakes nowadays…

Of course not.

As Tech said, Adaware is of little use.

Why not SAS on-demand as a backup scanner?

@RAZZLE;

Just to add to my previous post:

Both Malwarebytes and SAS are compatible with Avast!

I used to run both a while ago on demand.

SAS has never found anything, Malwarebytes has had some FP’s.
In the tests I have seen SAS is better than Malwarebytes, but others may disagree on this one.

Ok thanks everyone for your expertise . Roz

SAS never found anything on my systems and Malwarebytes fixes reported FPs in minutes if reported and validated:
