Another test

Hi guys, I’m new here, I was looking at some tests and came across one where Avast did really good, it came in fourth, but in my book it came in second because both AVK and a-squared use two engines if I’m not mistaking. Here is the site http://malwareresearchgroup.com/.

AVK seems to use Kaspersky and Bitdefender engine.
As you can’t use two antivirus at a time, you must choose between AVK and avast

how important is it if Avast is the second or third. It does the job very well. and with one engine.

GDATA 2009 uses Avast and BitDefender engines. In the 2008 version the engines were Avast and Kaspersky engines.

Well it looks like the extra engine doesn’t give them a big advantage, on the other side AVK uses a lot of memory. I would go with Avast in any case ;D

Normal… it’s like using two antivirus at the same time… more protection, more resources consumed…

Yes, I agree
