Please help I am at my wits end.
I broke my phones (Samsung S4) screen. I took the SIM card out and put it in an older phone, however the Samsung must have been powered up, after a while without any SIM the anti theft kicked in.
Now the anti theft has activate it wants the PIN, then after 30 seconds the Alarm set off. The problem is I only have ever used a 4 digit PIN. When I have checked both on my Avast Account there hidden number has 5 dots! My friends number in the 1st box has changed. When the siren sets off it asks does do you want to sent the SMS to you 1st friend. I have tried this obviously to see if next would it send it to my second friend, which it doesn’t or tells me there was a problem and its unable to send. I tried the account functions to switch off the alarm and lock, but these functions are not working.
I have tried to telephone from the UK, when eventually it was answered, the operative was not very helpful, he said he couldn’t do anything for me as this was covered by the online help to which he emailed a link. I went through the online help and it guided my to do exactly what I had been doing. I followed both with the online account and my account from my computers AV to reset the pin, but on both I get a message that it cannot be saved as there are errors. It does not tell me what errors.

Thank you Asyn, however, every time I access the link it states that my log in was unsuccessful. I have put my details in numerous time, swapped browsers, to see if a setting on them to no avail. I have even tried logging a new account and got a 404 error. Have you ever had the feeling that someone is against you.
So, from your link as I am obviously signed in here, should I have to re-enter details to submit a ticket? If not why am I being asked for them?
Just to put icing on the cake my Avast user interface is also not logging in to my account, so is my account corrupt?
Only two weeks ago I advised a friend to purchase Avast and to consider the VPN. I know he was going to wait until March when his McAfee licence ends. From this experience, I can advise him to purchase from Avira.

I have tried all these steps, however, I get the error on page when I try to reset PIN, which judging by the last thread, should have unlocked as I did write in the PIN!
My account on my Interface has opened up, blank, absolutely blank. >:(
I have managed to get into the trouble ticket zone by logging on with Google ???
