Anti-Theft Nexus 4 KitKat problem

Hello. I updated yesterday my nexus 4 to official 4.4 KitKat version with full wipe, then I was trying to install (advanced installation) anti-theft in root mode (phone is rooted), installator succesfully installed files and asked me to reboot phone. After that settings which requires root are in grey, and I can’t use it. Avast didn’t ask for administrator rights, is it OK? I’ve tried to flash update.zip too, but it doesn’t help. Is there any way to fix it? Thanks in advance for help.

P.S. Sorry, but I don’t speak english very well, I hope you can understand me.

Oh, sorry, I just saw this thread: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=139256.0 so I suppose I should wait for update?

To install root, avast! should have asked for root access.
Which is your superuser app or binaries?

Same problem here- when trying to install on CM11 (Android 4.4 / KitKat), I cannot choose root installation, nor does any super user dialog pops up requesting root permissions.

On previous Android versions (CM10.x / JB4.3, 4.2.2 etc. etc.) it worked flawlessly.

Got exactly the same problem. I am using SuperSU Pro, latest version 1.80.

During the installation the application “avast! mobile security” asks for the root permissions and get them successfully. But the antitheft application still reports itself as non-root installed.
