my computer is 1 year old, but it’s very slow and i had some kind of a infection a week ago. The virus was a random named folder in my (D:) drive. Inside was a fake “MRT.exe” but i deleted it instantly (it didn’t have the Microsoft “stamp” on it) I was very stupid about it. The folder disappeared after that. So today i noticed that my computers harddrive was starting every 10 minutes or so, but i didn’t care because it usually does this. But after thinking about it, i decided to run some antivirus programs. Avast, Windows Defender and Malwarebytes. First to complete was Malwarebytes, but it didn’t find anything. Then i just checked them to notice that Windows Defender had frozen (time since scan started and the scan itself) at 26669 files or something like that. I closed the scan down and checked on Avast!. It was at 0%. A couple of minutes later it got to 7%. 10 minutes later it was at 4 or 5%, so it restarted? When it finally was almost done, it got stuck on 94%. I exited the scan and deleted one item found (a so called “Injector” for a game, it basically injects a .dll file in the seleted program). Then i went here and started writing this topic.
Also: Nothing found by either Malwarebytes or Defender
Oh! Almost forgot! My internet has been lagging for my brother a couple of months when just surfing the internet. Maybe some kind of virus?
