Any Avast/Zipgenius "conflicts" ?

:slight_smile: I am considering installing ZipGenius and read the following
on their website : “If you set an antivirus software path in
ZipGenius options, the program will prompt you to perform
an AV scan before running the selected file” ; will this cause
any problems having Avast Home Edition ? I have read thru
the “Janus_75” thread started 5/15/05 and the “ZipGenius”
thread started in Mar 05 .

No, not a problem.
You can set ZipGenius to use:
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe

Is this not mentioned on the ZipGenius web site or in the help file?

:slight_smile: I installed ZipGenius a little earlier & found the “antivirus
software path” under the “Safety>Antivirus” screen &
put in your recommended “listing”; however, under this
is “Additional parameters”. Any recommendations as to
which of the 4 possibilities should be selected ?

ashQuick.exe uses no parameters at all… 8)
