My computer is infected with a virus calling itself “sporkeh owns you”. It has hijacked my computer and will not let me run any programs including my Avast antivirus software. It is however letting me access the internet. When I try to start programs I get an error message that states I have an uregistered version. Has anyone else encountered this virus and if so, how did you get rid of it?

try running avast in SafeMode (F8-Boot) or do a boottime scan (if you have Win NT/2000/XP) and/or try running Onlinescanners from Trend (see below) and www.ravantivirus.com

install & update Ad-Aware, Spybot & cwshredder: www.lavasoft.de & www.lurkhere.com
→ reboot in safeMode and scan & fix with them -

Ok now is the time to test my tweak tool’s power 
Download it from my signature (avast! External Control program),launch it and select Schedule Boot-Time scan from tools list. I just hope you have Windows NT/2000/XP
