Anyone having issues with the new Safe Zone Pay Mode feature, please?

Upper Left Corner shows Avast Safe Zone, next to it shows in Green. Vanilla Visa. In the search or web address block shows www.vanillavisa.com/product.html. It should say https://www.vanillavisa.com, Not www.vanillavisa.com/product.html. There is a weird symbol before www.vanillavisa.com/product.html when I click on it tells me Unprotected Connection, www.vanillavisa.com the connection is not protected. Next it has Details: The site is using out dated security settings that may prevent future versions of Safe Zone from being able to safely access it.

How can I get the Green Padlock to show that I am on a Secured Connection?

Please some one help me fix this issue, as I am afraid to put any type of info on it. I can go into my Firefox browser and be connected with a Green Padlock, but I prefer to use Avast Safe Zone and not to have any worries. There must be something I am doing wrong or it is just a Bug?

Yes, me too. Takes ages for Pay mode to launch, then when I fill in the passwords etc. for my bank and press return, it boomerangs me back to the login page. Very frustrating. Have tried repairing Avast but still the same

  • Which Avast…? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
  • Which version…?
  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?

Hi. I’m using Avast Pro, lastest version uploaded 2 days ago, windows 10, 32 bit. No other software issues

  1. Download Avast Pro Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_pro_antivirus_setup.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

Well I uninstalled and reinstalled as directed. Pay mode worked fine for a few hours, but now boomerangs me back to the first sign-in page!!!
