It is a limited feature version of Kaspersky. I tried it but didn’t like it. It was kind of screwy, I had it put an infection in quarantine. Everytime the real-time scanner checked the quarantine it warned me there was an infection in quarantine. I never heard of a real-time scanner checking the quarantine chest before. It turned out to be a false positive. It confirmed avast! did a good job. (I didn’t have avast! & AOL AVS on my computer at the same time, just that avast! was on my system first.)
Thank you…
Yup, That’s right. Kaspersky has taken it upon themselves, together with AOL, to FOREVER alter your computer for the worst, unless you either have imaging software, or unless they come up with a removal tool. I never said anything about dectection rates. The detection rates are what sold me to the AV. Honestly though, I used Avast before and I never got infected. I think I’ll be happy with Avast, but the Kaspersky game was played before and I ain’t playing it again…
