Updated iPhone to iOs 8.1, phone went into recovery mode, told me to connect to iTunes. I did, then updated iTunes, then tried to download update. It will not update, (error numbers 39 and 3952). After six hours of Apple customer service chat, disabling Avast, Windows firewall, doing a clean install of iTunes, cell provider phone call, and Apple phone call, Apple insists that the blockage is due to Avast.
How do I change the Avast settings so I can restore the phone?
