Are these really infected?

Did a full scan of my users files, and avast! flagged C://Users/user/AppData/Roaming/SUPErAntiSpyware/Quarantine > backup.db as being infected (5 instances)
Is this a true infection or a false positive find? Bitdefender also once picked up these logs items…

Thats normal. Thouse detections are based on AV’s heuristics. Just delete the content of SAS Quarantine folder and that’s it.

Hi magna86,

Just deleted these in the quarantine folder. That will do it?
Thanks for instructing me…

Yes, that should do the trick.

AV when scan your HDD, it literally goes file by file and checks thouse files with his virus database list.
When he looked in the SAS Quarantine folder it’s just recognized some “bad” file-sign and saw that something was wrong there (from his point of view) and put the warning.

Quarantine is related to the SAS and SAS has put those files there when he was removing some earlier infection.
Thouse files has changed by name and extension (perhaps encrypted too) so that they can’t be executed … they are now just junk files.
