ashQuick in silent mode? Is it possible?

I’m wondering if it’s possible to run ashQuick in silent mode (so that “splash” screen doesn’t appear while scanning). There is probably a command line, but i don’t know it.
I need this to experiment with some Firefox extension, but i don’t like that that popup jumps up on each file check.
Thanks

I’m afraid it’s not possible :frowning:
ashQuick actually doesn’t support any command-line arguments - it expects only the area(s) to scan there.

There are command lines (or rather switches) because i’m using them in AEC. For memory scanning (normal and thorough). You can also specify files or folder as target.

Yes, as I said - it expects the areas to scan on the command-line, nothing else (as far as I know).
The special areas (memory, …) start with an asterisk, but they are still “areas”.

Aha,ok. Thanks for info.

It may be possible to achieve this behavior using an external tool, but I’ll have to test it first…

Ok. I’ll just ask here about another thing. Is there any value or entry that could indicate if you have a Home Edition or Professional Edition?
I used several hacks for AEC to detect both editions, but they are not 100%.
It can be an ini file or registry entry, doesn’t matter much.
