ashWebSrv

why ashWebSrv.exe rum 10 times at windows start-up??
My Windows startup is take 20 minutes or more.

??? ??? ???

What is your windows version ?
The ashWebSv.exe (not ashWebSrv.exe) should run once, so there is something wrong with your installation.

Have (or did) you another AV installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?
What is your firewall ?
What other security based software do you have that might run on start-up ?

It might be best to do a clean reinstall:
Download the latest version of avast http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html and save it to your HDD, somewhere you can find it again. Use that when you reinstall.

Download the avast! Uninstall Utility, find it here and save it to your HDD.

  1. Now uninstall (using add remove programs, if you can’t do that start from the next step), reboot.
  2. run the avast! Uninstall Utility, reboot. If step 1 failed it may be necessary to run this from safe mode, once complete reboot into normal mode.
  3. install the latest version, reboot.

We will need more information to be able to help you:

  • Which OS are you using? Is it up to date?
  • What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number?
  • What was the filename and path where the virus was found?
  • Do you use a firewall? Which one?
  • Do you have any other antivirus installed in your system? Did you have in the past?
  • Any other security programs that could interfere?
  • In XP/Vista, is there any useful information into Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Events, specially ‘Errors’?
