As long as you have a copy of your licence data then it should not matter
Alright, thanks man :). Keep up the great work.
Sorry we could not fix this
I posted earlier saying I had the same issue. Your telling me that there is NO fix for this other than to reinstall windows and lose ALL my data, just because your program decided it want to brick my PC. Why its done this, i’ve got no idea but i’m not going to let you push me around like that other guy did. People will find out about this issue because they need to know, #AvastBricksComputers.
I will not spend money on a hard drive so I can back up my data, how was I supposed to know your program would suddenly decide to kill my computer.
@ platoroxs,
You seem rather angry, but when a Malware Specialist is dealing with an OP and in the middle of something, is most polite to open your own thread so as not to confuse either the OP or the Specialist. This is why you were not answered earlier. You should still open your own thread as the Specialist may not be finished with this thread and may need to finish by removing malware tools from this OP’s machine. We appreciate your feedback, while being polite as I am to you. Those of us on the forum are also volunteers and users of Avast just like you; we do not work for Avast. You are welcome to open a ticket up with Avast. Thank you very much.
