Starting on February 10, a 16GB model will cost $199.99 with a two-year contract, according to Verizon Wireless' Web site. The 32GB model will sell for $299.99. An extra feature Verizon will offer is the phone's ability to be a personal Wi-Fi "hot spot." Up to five Wi-Fi devices can connect to the Verizon iPhone at one time.
Competition will force AT&T to up its game or GTFO. You can bet Apple is none too happy about all the complaints after they decided to go with AT&T exclusively.
Considering it is a phone you could barely make phone calls on, the iPhone got insanely popular ;D. This must be a sore point for Beelzebub (oops I mean Steve Jobs). I can picture him sitting there brooding with his black turtleneck on, thinking of all the more money he could have made if he had chosen a better call provider.
Win7P is great, but… the only cons is the available apps. There are few than Android. But is a great phone. I hope that I can start writing applications for phones (and PCs) as soon as next year.
The problem is that I have sprint (and like them very much) and have a Palm Pre. The OS is friggin’ awesome and I don’t want to lose the functionality of it but I’m afraid I’ll have to since my phone is getting old and I can’t get a Pre2 on Sprint.
I just wish others would realize how nice the Palm WebOS was so that developers would actually create some apps for us. Well, maybe not. I don’t know what HP is going to do to it, but I’m pretty sure they’ll screw it up.
I guess I’m going to be forced to pick up an Android or Windows phone next. Anything but the crApple stuff!
The Windows 7 phone application is awesome and I wonder if Llanziel can write an application that would compete with the 6,000 apps already available ???
