AMD K6-2 333 PC with IE6
I had been using AVG but dumped it and reinstalled Avast., reregistered and set up for auto-update. Auto-update does not work. Every time I check for new database there is an update which I download. I tried checking for manual and then apply, later went back and checked automatic again. Still does not work. Any ideas?
What do you mean by it doesn’t work, are you getting error messages, if so what?
What is your OS?
What is your firewall?
Does it allow access to avast.setup, it needs access to be able to update?
Did you use the Trial version before (or the Pro) and than downgrade to Home?
It does not seem to be the firewall because the manual update works…
