“It’s under custom scans” - WHERE is that setting ?
Avast UI > Protection > Custom Scans
Here you can Check/Modify the Settings or Delete.

I can not reproduce the first one. Could it be that you have a paid-for version ?
They are both at the limit of readability, so I can only go by their general appearance.

Top left corner indicates I have Avast Free Antivirus.
In what way can’t you replicate it ? - is it that the Smart Scan doesn’t appear there in the Avast UI > Protection > Custom Scans
What is “at the limit of readability” (My screenshots or your screen display) ?
PROTECTION has 10 entries, which do NOT include ‘Custom Scans’.
Unreadability may well be the fault of my screen display.

Protection doesn’t have Custom Scans - it is in the very first object on that Screen ‘Virus Scans’ (screenshot attached, click to expand).
Now you should be able to see Custom Scans as per my 2nd screenshot.
THAT allowed me to delete the monthly schedule; presumably, that will now stop. Thank you.
