is avast removed automatic updates of virus definition as like avast removed voice popup when avast virus definations updates?
my avast not updating automatically from few days when i am connected to internet.it shows me pop up everyday saying
my virus definiton is out of date, update now.
i update my avast everyday manually. :-\
Perform a repair of avast and see if that solved the problem.
i repaired now but i am not able to start firewall.
firewall is not working after repairing it.
Did you reboot after the repair?
Any other security (related) software installed (or previously)?
not rebooted after repair. rebooted now after reading here.now firewall is working
not sure if definitions updates automatically after repair.i will let u know after using.

still automatic definition not updates.it shows last update received 27 dec 2014
but virus definition is still same as it was on 25 dec 2014

Mine is up to date.
To find the def folder…right click the avast desktop icon>click “open file location”>double click “def”.
i started laptop and connected internet. i captured screen shot of yesterday update, then i captured screen shot of definiton after connecting internet though definition not updates.it shows last update received date correctly but virus definitions i.e current version do not updates automatically.
so i captured screen shot when manually updating it and i found new virus definition i.e current version is updated.i am facing problem in automatic updates.i can do manual updates but i am confused why automatic updates not working after reparing avast also.
