Thank you, i don’t saw that. I was talking about it since version 17.1. Beta version 17.3.2290 was released 3 day before full release. That is enough time for testing? I don’t think so.
Another problem I do not know about all is, but I have it with a full scan of the hard disk load of 100%, and often start the computer and application brakes. In the previous version, there was not such a full scan worked and the load was not high
So if I want to custom install (like I did with the version before this one) I should download the offline package, uninstall then custom install? Just want to make sure. Thanks.
I noticed that I got an apple update for ITunes notification in Windows saying there is an update version 12.6, however Avast is saying that 12.5.5 5 is the latest and all my software is up-to-date.
I have done as you said, avast support tool didnt find any issue. My OS windows 10 i am running avast free. I dont see the point of sending a ticket as the support tool didnt find anything. This issue is present on 3 pc’s I have tested it on two laptops does the same thing. Last time i told a bug here it was verfied and the people here just informed the avast dev team and they sorted it out the next update. You can test this bug your self, turn ur pc on from cold boot then soon as it goes on to ur desktop try right clicking and scan on any file. And you can see the issue from there.
However, since there aren’t any major changes, newly added components, but some changes, then you could get away with doing a program update from the avastUI as it should honour your existing settings and components.
I appreciate if you want to make sure, yes do the custom install, but if you choose to do that don’t uninstall your existing avast version or you could lose some of your settings. You can of course Backup your settings and then Restore settings.
