Avast 17.9.2322 add-on prevents Outlook 2010 starting.

Outlook 2010 won’t start with Avast add-on WinXP SP3. OK if Avast add-on is disabled.
Outlook 2010 does start OK with Avast add-on Win10 Home Creators.

Is this a different problem than that reported for Outlook 2016?
