Avast 2015 problem

Hi

I had been running Avast free 2014 since last year with zero problems
I have used your software for many years without issue.

I installed Avast free 2015-- rebooted when prompted, and by the time the desktop was fully loaded, Windows crashed. BSOD

Booted to ‘safe mode’ / uninstalled Avast / rebooted normally --no problem.

Tried the install again-- thinking there was corruption in the download, same result. Bluescreen.
page fault in non-paged area-- or something like that.
Will go back to 2014 version for now-- but any help would be appreciated.

Windows 7 64-bit ALL updates

This seems to be an ongoing bug in the latest forum software update affecting relatively new members, which has been and is being discussed elsewhere and hopefully will be fixed soon. Sorry about that, but you’re by no means alone.

No problem - As mentioned a forum bug - your duplicated have been removed.
