Vlk did post the link in his topic on the release of 4.8.1195, however the change log always resides in the same place, http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-4-home_pro-revision-history.html.
Even to me this was a problem I could have lived with and I’m thankful that it was fixed in the pre-release version.
But while most software companies are choosing to ignore users of obselete OSs (and I can understand the reasons why), avast! actually includes it in the revision history!

It’s impressive that Alwil support old OS. Although I’m using Vista and XP I’m quite glad to see this compatibility effort. Congratulations.
