Avast 4.8 Professional licence holders vs new Avast version

Do I as a 4.8 Prof licence holder just upgrade to free version of Avast 5?

I believe you should be able to download a Pro version from the avast web site.

Installing 5.0 over 4.8 should preserve and convert your existing license fo avast 5.0.

If not you can have your existing license converted into the new license file format - avast! 5 Pro license convert from 4.8 Pro license. Try http://www.avast.com/resend-license.php now, fill in the form giving your email and 4.8 Pro License key and they will send the new license file to you (presumably it will check you have a legit 4.8 Pro license first).

You can download/install v5 right over v4.8 and all will convert to v5.

Worked perfectly for me with both the Free version and the Pro version.

Thank you guys, it’s my fault really I had not visited Avast Main page since release day
but now seen the link for 4.8 upgrade and have purchased AIS.
