Avast 5 and Vista / 7's own firewall

Hi, I really like avast, but I can’t get it to update.

I use the windows firewall in vista and windows 7, blocking everything except what I want to go in and out. (So by default nothing gets through, I unblock new programs manually)

What should I allow in case of avast 5? I have tried things mentioned by avast but to no avail…

does it update if you turn off the firewall ?

Not to sure about windows own firewall on windows 7 as I use another product but my firewall is allowing:

AvastSvc.exe ( TCP IN > ports 12025,12080,12110,12143,12456,12993,12995 )
( TCP OUT > ports 25,80,465,995

AvastUI.exe ( TCP OUT port 80 )

Hi, the actual update is going to be initated from the executable file with the name avast.setup (from the avast5\setup folder). This file exists only during the update process and changes on every update - it is actually downloaded first then executed. (TCP OUT port 80)
