Avast 5 Offline registration issue (vs. Avast 4.8)

Using Avast! 4.8, I was able to do an Offline registration license key renewal at ANY TIME by
right-click the Avast! tray icon and selecting About avast!.. > License key….

With Avast! 5, After entering the license key the Offline registration option disappears and it is no longer available utile some time before the current license key validity ends (as I read in this forum).

How can I regain this “Any time Offline Registration license renewal” option with Avast! 5?

And why do you need to do that if your program is already registered?

Just in case I want to renew the license before Avast says it is going to end.
This option was available in version 4.8.

Is true, For me that was a good option in version 4.8
Why avast! 5 doesn’t have it ???

you must reinstall to have the option of Offline registration available again? :frowning:

Simply… I help my friends with their computer problem (at home naturally)… If I can’t renew the license before end I need to return another time to my friend! And this is a waste of time, resources and money :frowning:
My friends are not capable to insert the license key itself.

The license key, like version 4.8,should be renewed at any time!

If they are able to turn on there computer they should be able to do the " ON-LINE registration " where you do not need a key all you need is a name and E-mail address, It can`t be easyer than that...... ::)

Yes, but in version 4.8 the insert key option was available at any time
in version 5 if you insert the key the first time, the option of “offline registration” disappears

Remember that people without an internet conection need the best antivirus too :wink:
i have a lot of friends that i recommended avast! 4.8 and they used offline registration cause they dont have internet…

please add this option of insert key at any time in version 5 :wink:
