Avast 5 - X Error: Acess is denied

has been found twice on my machine after a quick scan today. I am apparently not allowed to either delete, quarantine or ignore this as access is denied :-\ I should add that my son also uses this Pc ::slight_smile: Any suggestions and advice very appreciated guys

This should really have been in the beta forum, but anyway…

  1. There’s a pretty good chance it may have been a false positive. Look in the beta forum, the topic about FPs (sticky I think)

2.I would not use the beta on a system that other people use (this is one of the reasons I have not used the beta)

I am not sure but the access denied could be one of a few things…file in use, not enough user rights etc…
