I just found out that avast! autoSandbox always asks for permissions to run flash based files (Developed using Macromedia Flash). But this problem didn’t persist with previous stable version anyway. Although I can set autosandbox to take automatic decisions so no dialog boxes. But it mess up with some installations too (like TeamViewer). So I had to turn off this feature.
May be AutoSandbox still developing but when it’s annoying I can’t take it further. Hope avast! will fix this soon with next pre-release.
Yesterday I’ve installed TeamViewer latest version. When I was running TV setup, avast! AutoSandBox dialog pops up and asked me an option. Now I wonder why it’s just on me ???
Anyway I’m using avast! Internet Security 6.0.1091…
Oh, okay… when installing. Yes, that also does it on my system - but I think that is perfectly okay since those setups dig inside the system configuration.
I wouldn’t want it any other way.
If you find that annoying, then you should turn off the sandboxing.
Oh yeah that’s true but when you make fresh install of OS and when install vital softwares into your system that annoyance could happen. And I notified when installation of some other driver packages there were no pop ups. its better if avast! can implement safe exclude list or mechanism for AutoSandBox. A newbie can get confused mostly.
