Hi I just updated to Avast 7, and my computer has ever since been seriously lagging. It’s freezing, and even thought the scan had been going on for 2 hours, it still says that the progress is only 0% >:( Can anybody help me?

What OS? Version? Service Package?
Any Firewall(s)?
Any Previous/Current Antiviruses?
What kind of scan are you trying to do?
Is it custom? Did you change the scan settings?
I have Windows 7
As far as I know no firewalls
I was running a full system scan
I had the last version of avast before avast 7
I didn’t change the scan settings
I hope that helps 
maybe you must try uninstalling avast and reinstall again… i heard many avast problem can be solved by this methods
