I have not installed yet avast 2014 but in avast 8 and firefox 25 rc3 does not work shield of script again … not if in avast 2014 will not work either
The Script Shield has been integrated into the Web Shield along with the Network shield in avast 2014, so you won’t specifically see it in avast 2014.
Well there is no guarantee that the script shield in avast 8 will work with firefox builds that are not the stable release version.
I am running FF25 and the Web Shield works fine - or at least it is showing on the stats screen as working. 
I believe it isn’t the web shield that the OP is concerned with, but the Script Shield and that was what my reply (relating to avast 8 and 9) was about.

That is correct, it isn’t as easy to see it at work now because it will be included in the avastUI > Statistics > Realtime Data, last scanned items list for the three main areas, File System Shield, Web Shield & Mail Shield.
Which is what I based my reply on and why I confirmed the Web shield was working in FF25-
that web shield work it does not mean that the scripts are analyzed…now in avast 9 is not possible to know it
It is possible, but as I said it isn’t easy as all shield activity is grouped together in the statistics, you would have to be actively monitoring the avastUI > Statistics > Realtime Data, last scanned items list, to see those that relate to scripts.
What would you look for? items ending in “.js” ?
Generally that would be it, but there may be others.
version final firefox 25 and script shield not work in avast 8 and i sopuse that dont work in avast 9…I have avast Internet security and have not updated to the version 9 … when there will be ready an update that solves all the problems ?
