Avast 8 and Novell Zenworks 11 conflict

Hi,

There is a conflict with Avast 8 Endpoint Protection Suite and Novell Zenworks 11 that causes you not to be able to access Windows Shares. Novell knows about it as a Service Request has been opened up on the issue. I was just wondering is there a way to get a copy of Avast 7 Endpoint Protection Suite that I could downgrade to on a few users that need to access Windows shares? Accessing windows shares with Avast 7 installed worked fine, but then broke when we installed Avast 8.

For about a month I used version 7 of the standalone client. Unfortunately that ceased to work yesterday. I am back to square one myself.

I have the same issue with one of my customer sites. Still testing. So far windows shares and Avast EndPoint protection work with Zen Agent 11.2.3.24691. Still working to see if 11.2.4 works.

Works with ZenAgent 11.2.4.32791
