How can you trust an anti-virus security app that’s not vetting their own advertisers? You would think that would be basic. Very disappointed. I guess the positive reviews of this app are fake. Thought about upgrading, but now I plan to delete the app. What other security violations are built into the app that we are not aware of.

I’m pretty sure the Avast Mobile App uses Adsense (on Android devices, at least), which is a Google product that chooses ads to show you based on your digital profile (What websites you visit, What products, brands or items you search for, ect…) Avast would have no control over what advertisements you get, in that case.
