In image #1 it says your expiration date is March 4, 2013. Thus the 29 days which for some reason doesn’t jive with the second image.
Are you sure these are for the same machine? ???
And the green checkmark means your system is secured. I did not see any indication of “security off”. ??? ???
You tried the beta version and removed it.
You installed avast!7 and it now needs to be registered so it starts off with a 30 day trial.
Register with your license and you’ll get the correct expiration date.
Have you tried a repair? Control Panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall a program>double click “avast”>scroll to and click “repair”>reboot.
Did you by any chance back-up your v7.0.xxx settings? ???
I registered at least 4 times and it still showed I had only 27 days left so this am I created a new email address, registered again so now I good for another year. Would post a screen shot but it shows my email address.
Then you have to use and investigate the settings in the program, make a screenshot and use it for experimentation using the edit tools available. Once you have the basics mastered removing/obscuring an email address is an absolute breeze, but you have to practice.
Because you either aren’t selecting the active window as the area to capture or you aren’t using the crop feature to only have the relevant information in the screenshot.
As I said you need to practice off-line and get familiar with the program before using it live for images attached in the forums. The scribble tool you used is inadequate as the email is still visible, you need to adjust the width of that tool so it is completely obscured. I would suggest that until you familiarise yourself with this program, that you modify your post and remove the image attachment so your email address isn’t hanging in the wind.
I don’t know if that screenshot application allows you to select an area and ‘blur’ or ‘pixelate’ the area thereby obscuring your email address or even selecting the area of the email address and selecting/deleting it from the image. There have to be lots of ways to do this, but you have to familiarise yourself with this program.
I don’t use that screen capture tool, so I can’t offer any practical assistance and in reality that has to be down to you to learn how to use the tool than have others try and teach you how to use it.
I’m using the version of Jet Screenshot but I haven’t learned how to use the editing tools yet. I tried using crop but don’t understand how to use it yet. I’ll keep trying though.
