AVAST activation codes not working

I purchased AVAST Ultimate for new laptop. Activation code does not work. I contact support and give me new activation code which also does not work.

My AVAST Premier just renewed for my old lap top today. Guess what. Activation code does not work.

Two different lap tops. Both having activation code issues.

I have spent hours trying to fix this. Both on my own and with support. Support has taken control of my lap top to try and help. They have failed on multiple occasions.

They escalated the issue to someone who supposedly could help me. They failed and failed and failed.

I am so upset right now. What a terrible waste of time. I am not getting any help from AVAST. This is maddening!

The same thing has happened to me. I bought Ultimate a few days ago and put the license in and it was fine. Over the weekend I had to reinstall Windows 10, which meant reinstalling Ultimate. Now the activation code doesn’t work, and when I clicked to be sent a new license, it doesn’t work either.

I sent two emails to Support about this and have had no response. I am on the edge of seeking a refund since Avast doesn’t seem to be taking these matters seriously.

Sending more than one request slows things down. Each new request starts the process all over again.
Have a little patience. :slight_smile:

Correct me if I’m wrong please, but if ‘my.avast.com’ is down/not loading does that not affect the activation process of licenses?

Edit: Apparently the Activation issues are a different issue related to the
“cart related system” per Ondrej on Slack.

Well AVAST Premier and Cleanup is active on my older Lap Top. This renewed on July 14. Problem is they used the Activation code for AVAST Ultimate which I purchased for my new Lap Top on July 4 which didn’t work from the moment I purchased it.

So it appears that I paid Ultimate price for just Premier and Cleanup on the renewal on my older Lap Top. They list the next renewal date as 7/15/2020. So not only did I lose on the price but there is 11 days missing since I purchased that Activation code on 7/4/2019.

Still no AVAST Ultimate for my new Lap Top and Still no help.

I’m having the same issue. Renewed my subscription for Avast Internet Security this past week. Today was the renewal date for the old subscription. I log onto my computer today and it says my license expired. Entered the subscription code and it says “Sorry, something went wrong”. Also tried entering the code with the hyphens and it says “Sorry, this activation code has no valid license for you.”

Did you buy from Avast directly or from a reseller…?
