the file is: c:\users\study\appdata\local low\avast ad blocker\smoqxcuno\reonuwqyxiu\hxaopoalnqhu.exe. Google chrome failure notice continually pops up on screen. I don’t have chrome on my pc. Can’t delete it, because message says “a file is use”. Help!

Thanks for the attempt. Farbar does not download to my computer. I tried several times. Other things I tried were: ccleaner, junk removal tool, spybot, defragged, searched c:\ for errors, avast antivirus, …I finally found the file, but could not delete it, because it was popping up as soon as I deleted it, so it was “in use.” the file is: c:\users\study\appdata\local low\avast ad blocker\smoqxcuno\reonuwqyxiu\hxaopoalnqhu.exe. The error message is: Google Chrome cannot read or write to this directory c:\users\study\appdata\local\google\chrome\user data.
What next?
Farbar does not download to my computer. I tried several times.Why ? ..... any error messages
NO ERROR MESSAGES, BUT WHEN I LOOK AT THE DOWNLOAD FILE, IT SAYS THAT FARBAR WOULDN’T DOWNLOAD. Sorry for the caps. I wasn’t looking.
Any chance to transfer FRST from other PC?
Thanks to all. I restarted the pc in safe mode and the pop ups didn’t pop, so I was able to find the file and delete it. That solved the problem.
